The 2026 SCI Girls Championship is open to all K-12 Indiana Girls. The winner of the Championship section will earn a scholarship and will represent Indiana in the WIM Ruth Haring National Tournament of Girls State Champions. 2026 SCI Team Championships

The Scholastic Chess of Indiana Team Championships is a team competition for Indiana grade K-12 schools. Play is in four grade divisions – Twelfth Grade & Under, Eighth Grade & Under, Sixth Grade & Under, and Third Grade & Under. Sixth Grade & Under and Third Grade & Under teams must qualify at a Regional before attending Finals. Twelfth Grade & Under and Eighth Grade & Under teams play only in the Finals. Format is 4-player fixed-roster teams. Please read instructions carefully, and do not hesitate to email us with questions.
